Default Using Comm. Server Offline !!

Can flash communication server swf's work offline , without server ?

Hmm...

I guess not.

The server must be online in order to
transmit data between multiples clients.

Flash comm server doesn´t work as netMeeting.

There´s lots of differences in those technologies.

but there´s another resourse in flash mx scripting
called local connection... did you already heard about it?

it´s quite funny...

try the attached file...

open two swf of it and drag the red ball.

may be there´s a way to use this stuff for more
applications.

Hmm, sure you can use the SWF's offline, .. just code in some alternative handling for when the server is unavailable. Webcam conversations won't work, of course
