Default drag, scale and rotate

I want to place a shape over an image of a site plan (the shape represents a group of rooms in a building). I want to give the user the chance to drag the shape to the desired location on the plan, then be able to rotate it (by mousing over one of the corners) or scaling it (by grabbing one of the sides). I'm able to place the image and drag it, but am lost as to how to rotate it or scale it.

I know it can be done through AS, but I'm in a crunch to get it done and don't have the time to figure it out right now. I was hoping that someone out there may have already done this.

Thanks in advance for any assistance that you can give.

This is great and is exactly what I'm looking for. Unfortunately as a bit of a newbie to Flash I'm not exactly sure how to implement it.

I made a new layer like in the example and pasted the prototype in, but I can't seem to assign it to a movie clip.

Can anyone help a poor newb?

Rossman - just because I like the name. My sons name is Ross and I call him RossMan.

I remember getting this file from someone - not sure who to give the credit to.

Hope this helps. If you need someone to explain it however, I'm probably not the best person for that.

I'll help where I can.

Good Luck.

Thanks mate. It's weird, I downloaded that and it works fine. But if I try and set up my own Flash movie that uses it, it doesn't work.

I have the FreeTransform definition set up on a layer in the first frame of the timeline, just like that sample.

I can copy and paste one of my movie clips into that movie and it works fine. But when I try and get it working in my movie, all I get when I click the movie clip is a single square (resize) box on the "a" position, and if you click that the object disappears.

So confused...
