Heres a challenge. A simple game from a single script.
and heres my starter. I put it on a html page cos its about 200 lines. http://www.geocities.com/hairybobby2000/fxgame.html Its based on the popular game Mastermind where you have to choose colored counters to crack a code. We have this game everywhere in the UK - I'm not sure if it is as popular in the states. But if you don't recognise it then say and I'll explain the rules. BTW - If it doesn't work please say because I can't check it from this computer as it doesn't have flash on it. Last edited by vulcanpimp; 08-26-2003 at 01:22 PM.. |

about 12 hours of pure scripting later...
it's done (ok it's a little bit more than 200 lines, but I could reduce the linecount by reducing the details, removing the notes and my little copyright )play it http://de.geocities.com/roland_plass/worms037.html the code: http://de.geocities.com/roland_plass/game.htm make sure not to have the yahoo ad text selected (be happy, i first wanted to pose the whole code in [ AS ] tags here) (just wanted to say, we're waiting for other games Last edited by McGiver; 08-28-2003 at 09:06 AM.. |

hmm, better graphics do not make a better game. I like yours too
how to play it: hold down left mouse button to incrase Firepower , move the mouse to set the direction to fire, relase left mouse to fire here a version with some little AI (just some Math to make him fire in the right direction) play it: http://de.geocities.com/roland_plass/worms045.html the code: http://de.geocities.com/roland_plass/game-ai.htm you can make the game harder by reducing the stupidity (if you set stupidity to 0, every 2nd bullet hit's the target) Last edited by McGiver; 08-29-2003 at 12:40 PM.. |

Hey yeah, I figured out how to play yours and its a cracking game.
Your right better graphics don't make a better game but better graphics means more skilled programming - thats what I meant. My graphics compose of just a simple line. Its a bit too late to change it now - better graphics would mean an entire reworking. Last edited by vulcanpimp; 08-30-2003 at 07:29 AM.. |
