Hi Guys,
I've been trying a buch of stuff and I can't seem to get anything to work. I went out and bough the book "Macromedia Flash Communication Server MX" by Kevin Towes and I cam upon something that I think may be the cause of my problem: file structure. The book shows a figure of what my Flashcomm files and folders should look like on my computer but, it doesn't coincide with what is actually on my computer. I tried reinstalling the trial version several times checking the different boxes but I can't match it up. The book shows the "Applications" folder located within the "wwwroot/flashcom" directory. Mine installs to "Programs/Macromedia/Flash Communication Server MX". Am I supposed to move this folder to wwwroot/flashcom? He also makes mention of a "scriptLib" folder and how this folder's location and contents may prevent an application from working properly. Has anyone had a similar problem? What am I supposed to do? Thanks very much! artane |
