How do I test chat with my other computer?

hey guys,

I've got 2 computers in my office. They both have webcams. They are sharing the same internet connection through a hub but, they are not connected as a network.

I'm creating some video chat stuff that I want to be able to test with the other computer in my office. What is the best way to do this?

Do I have to connect them? If so how? I'd rather not do this but, do I have any other options?
