I just put two useful extensions up at my site and at www.flashextensibility.com.
DialogDesigner Message Window The first allows you to quickly create, edit and test XML for XML-to-UI dialog boxes as well as XML for tools, behaviors and effects. The tree has drag and drop functionality and validation to keep the XML in line. The second is a Flash version of Director's Message panel, which allows you to type in your JSFL directly and have it executed immediatley. It features a put() function as well as the ability to enter multiline code. Please let me know of any issues or features you'd like to see, and I hope the prove useful! |

Keith Peters (bit-101) and I are hard at work finishng up a JSFL tutorial/reference book that should be out in November. The site for the book (which has forums and some downloads already) is the one I mentioned in the first post, www.flashextensibility.com.
Guy Watson at www.flashguru.co.uk has a subscriber list up that has some interesting posts on it. That's definitely something to check out to learn more. |
