OK, just wanted to announce that I found the problem.I didn' know that on UNIX systems is important how one writes the links, i.e. I the files had been saved in capital letters and the links referred to them with small letters.Andthat seemed to be the problem.Well I learn everyday.

As a general rule I use lowercase for everything because, depending on the server program, this can be an issue on NT servers also.
