Default javascript use

Hi I want to load some data into my flash movie using Javascript.

Is it possible to use an "javascript:Myfunction();" URL in the loadVariables() action?

And if not, because I tried and it doesn't seem to work. Does anyone know I good, multiplatform way to communicatie between two flash movies?

thanx

PS I found macromedia's technote 15683, but that solution doesn't work for explorer on the mac at all.
see: http://www.macromedia.com/support/fl...cript_comm.htm

use localconnection

do a quick search of the forums for 'localconnection' and you find your answer.

i also think jesse or one of our cronies here, has a tutorial on just his subject in the tutorials section.
