nobody else seems to know the answer to this. and you guys are just about the most knowledgable, amicable people I know.

According to MS the iframe tag in HTML has an onLoad event handler. O'reilly says it doesn't. I can't get it work. Since i trust O'reilly and know from experience that MSs site is a piece of sh*t, I'm starting to believe that it doesn't. my question is this:

does anybody know of an alternative that would allow me to check (from the parent page/window) if the iFrame has loaded new content?

thank in advance for any light you may shed on the subject
