Component in MX2004
Hi there,
I heard through the grapevine that components won't be supported in MX 2004. Is it true? Or is it just rumour? I really hope it is the latter.

heheheeeee
well, lemme see
the word "Components" appeared within the "Flashers" world while the release of Flash MX
and it sticked with the name COMPONENTS
and when the MX2004 released, it included some Compnents that works in a different manner than the old MX
so, its name become V2
and the old is V1

Oh... I see...
Then, smartClips become V0.000000001, right???
So... Basically many of those components that we can find from, say, FlashComponents.net wiill not work in FMX2004??? In other words, the components that can be used in FMX2004 has to be built different than the ones for FMX??? That sucks...

yup
sucks, and this discribes the fever of selling the old components upon the new release of MX 2004
but, the benfits are more than what u can expect:
u keep all the Classes in one folder/package and then u can use any/ all of them upon one line in the AS panel
