Hi!

I am an architect, needing help in some Action Scripts. I am doing a "Virtual Space" competition. For handling some technical challenges I would need someone with best
knowledge of Action Scripts, specially 3d engines and movements, who has the time to help me realizing my vision of the project, from now till hopefully the end of next week, as the submission deadline for the competition is in 2 weeks.

So I hope someone is interested in the competitions` theme and generally in the visualization of information, because I only can offer the mention as a teamwork in the final competitions` contribution :-)!

For details, please contact me!

We are architects also and we probably will participate to the same competition. I would suggest you dig other technologies, flash is not ideal to setup a virtual space. Director 8.5 has built-in 3d engine (keep in mind that publishing this type of content requires the full shockwave plug-in and the last one off course!)Otherwise VRML is still good and every 3d package has a vrml exporter, some technologies allow you to publish it without having the users downloading a plug-in, this is X3d or java3d+vrml. Cult3d, shout3d(no-plug-in),pulse3d, viewpoint/metastream, eye-on work all very wall also. I've been into realtime3d for quite a long time (I didn't mention opengl or direct3d as this is not internet technology) and even if nowadays you've plenty of choice, it's still very complex to deliver content over the web, flash is too slow (use a lot of cpu ressources) and don't use 3dvideocards so don't expect amazing computer game rendering.

bye (good luck)

Default 3d tools

Jerome,

thanks for your replay!
Well, I´m just experimenting with something new, where Flash is the main tool. We´ll see. I´m curious for the final result by myself.

Good luck!
