Default best way to do flash submenus?

hello all,

i am a relative n00b when it comes to Flash and ActionScript. i've a decent grip, but not much experience.

i'm designing a header and menu system for a hybrid site that i want to have sub menus. for instance, mouse over the main menu option "boats" and have the sub-options "new", "used", etc. animate out below it, and remain once the mouse moves.

rather than try to explain what i'm trying to do, i'll just leave it at that and ask humbly for your help. thanks.

seth

hey,

Also check out the FMX 2004 menuBar Component. Perhaps will save you some time instead of creating your own, and it's rather easily skinnable .
