Can't install MX 2004

Okay, I registered online, then I try to install but nothing happens.

Once I got a warning that the disk was bad.

Am I missing a step to install the software? or do I have a bad disk?

When I try to install, let say Dreamweaver, I get the following

An Error occured while reading the installer data. This installer appears to be damaged.
1009:5-36 IO Error (Bad Disk)

I guess I'll just return it for a new disk.

im not being a smart *** but i think that you should be contacting macromedia ,not action script .org's action 2.0 forum ..
try them ..to answer your question ,,im not really sure since i cant see your computer

I did contact Macromedia, and they are sending me a new disk.

I was just wondering if this was a common problem with a solution other than getting a new disk.
