Default anyone ever customizied the focus ring in mx 2004

has anyone customized the focus ring that appears around components in mx 2004 during tabbing ? the help file is like *ultra* skimpy and im so sick of haloGreen, haloBlue and haloOrange i could scream. ive customized some pretty sweet components but the built in focus rings are just throwing the whole thing off...or if someone knows how to get rid of them all together that would work too...

Perhaps check out the 'FocusRect.as' file in the Classes>skins>halo folder of FMX2004. I imagine that has to do with it, not sure how incorporate it though when you have customized it.

You can disable the focus ring for all components with only one line of code...
Code:
//this will disable the focus ring...
myComponent.drawFocus="";
Code:
//this will change the color of the halo themes
//(including the the focus ring)...
myComponent.setStyle("themeColor", 0xFFEE00);
//you can use any hex colors!
