Question Navigation from within a Movie Clip

Hey I need help with navigation....

I've only jsut started using flash MX, and I'm attempting to create an animation for uni.

The problem I'm having, is that I don't know what command to use in order to navigate back to the main timeline from within a movie clip timeline??

I need to get back to frame 140 in the main timeline... but the button I'm using is within a movie clip so it just navigates to frame 141 within the movie clip

I'm sure this is a really simple problem, but I don't have a clue about flash

Thanks for any help

Chris

ActionScript Code:
_root.gotoAndStop(141); // _root sends you to the main timeline of your Flash movie
