actually pacman is one of the more difficult games to make. I've not seen a tutorial on it but most methods involve using an array to outline the allowed and dissalowed areas od the screen, and then using some form of checking the array before moving the piece, to ensure the move is valid.

ps - I would recommend the book, Flash 5 ActionScritp For Fun And Games (see the books section) if you intend to get into game programming. It comes with a working (and very good) version of a pack-man game.

Cheers Jesse. I am trying to make a fun game for a company site using their company mascot (which is a globe with a face and arms and legs)... I thought that the Pac man idea would be the best, but are there any other good games that are easy to make and can use the mascot?

I will look into that book too!

Thanks again Jesse.

I think that the easiest ones woul dbe those for which there are ample open source examples. If you checkout http://www.flashkit.com/movies/ you will prolly find a good array of open source on games...

Default My project.

I just got done making pacman with a twist, I would be more than happy to share the source, or to help you out with it. Is there anything in particular that's holding you back?

You're more than welcome to email me at randomnumeral@hotmail.com

Drewmutt how about putting your source in the Movies section here? (If you're willing). Thanks in advance.
