Default Flash 5 - preloader and animation for external swf's

I need to create a preloader that loads external swf files, but instead of counting values etc, rather have some animated doors slide over the top of the MC that the external swf is loading into.

When the external swf is loaded, I want the sliding doors (or image or whatever) to open back up and reveal the loaded movie.

I found a Flash MX version of this, but cannot find a Flash 5 version. I know it can be done in Flash 5 cos' I have seen sites that utilised it before MX came out.

Thanks in advance,

Man I haven't been here for a long time. Anyway, preloaders are my speciality.
Have a movie clip with sliding doors with 100 keyframes and is animated. Put a stop action in the doors movie clip and put this code on the preloader scene

First Frame
Preloader = (_root.getBytesLoaded()/_root.getBytesTotal())*100;
if (doors._currentframe<Preloader) {
} else {
if (_root.getBytesLoaded() == _root.getBytesTotal()) {
Second Frame
gotoAndPlay(_currentframe -1)
I have attached a example for you in Flash 5 format.
Attached Files
File Type: zip doors.zip (119.5 KB, 383 views)
