Binding AS generated data to a component

Hi. I have a movie set up that when it is clicked on it generates data to a dynamic text box. I want to bind this data to text imput componant. From what I can see I would first have to send this data to a DataHolder componant. The bind it to a TextImput Componant. Is this corect? I cant get it to work. Could some one hep me? This is a very simple Idea there has to be an answer to.

Could I show you an example of what I have so you can better understand where I am trying to go. The script you have above seems to be a way to bind to TextInput components via written script vs. databinding with the component inspector. I am fairly new at this so maybe I am misunderstanding the script.
