Simple structuring advice needed

I've got a site which will contain 4 main photo galleries, each containing up to 15 images a piece. Only 1 image will be visible, but smaller thumbnails of the other images in the gallery will be visible. Would it be best to create each gallery as a separate .swf then load them when needed or is there a better way to approach something like this?

I'd say yes,and aslo to load all of these pix into the file from external directory

farafiro is right on; 4 separate swfs would be a great structure and there are also many components out there to do photo galleries as well.
