impossible mission ???

hi to all

i have a brordgame something like Chess bild up from MovieClips now i place the figure on it which are also movieclips PNG because i need the Alpha chanel else it show a black box aruond it

now the problem :
players shoud be able to make their figures mean if ther is a Local file like "King" then this shud be placed on the bord instead the one from the server but there seams to be no way to load PNG files from AS.
Loadmovie just work on jpeg an swf files jpeg has no Alpha to Mask it is also no way because the mask woud need to be also a jpeg (is there a way to take the Black(white) or one RGB chanel as the Mask?)Mean a Box whit a White spot in it as mask and from the masked movie shud just the spot be visible ?

or it is just Impossible what i want ?

There is an extension available, by Stromberg Larsen, called "img2swf".

It will allow you to imports png files with transparency straight from the server.

I haven't used it myself, so I am unable to give you a review of it, but I believe it is a payware extension ($99 I think).
