Default scrollbar hell!

Hi All,
Is it just me or is a good scrollbar for a movieclip (not just text) in mx 2004 7.2 impossible?

I ended up buying this extension http://www.cbnw.org/~msplus/tempSite/MacoScroller/ which seems amazing if it would install correctly in mx 2004 7.2 on osx 10.3.4. has anyone successfully installed this in osx?

If not does anyone have any other solutions or know of any good extensions for scrollbars?
