Default Is FlashCom cannot support Digital Video camera?

I have see a FlashCom TechNotes from Macromedia.com, it say currently not possible to capture audio and video from a digital video camera at the same time.

Is there no solution use DV to capture video in FlashCom?

We hooked an xL 1 and pro cam to through the mac to the FCS using firewire I think???
It worked. We just tryed it and the client found the stream????

it wont work on Windows XP SP2...Microsoft "improved" the DV drivers...no fix as of yet :-(

although this thread is a little old, here ist my solution:
it works on my XP Sp2.
I had to use:
myCam.setMode(720, 568, 25 ,true);

Maybe this helps.
