I have a progress bar and a track position bar for an mp3 player which displays everytime I 'test movie' in flash but not when I preview as html either in flash or online.
I'm on mac OS X, the swf is set to publish as flash 6 and the problem seems to be the same for pc users who have checked out the page online. I'm completely perplexed - the progress bars are codes that just simply compare bytes loaded/song position (total duration hard coded) with bytes total. My other site preloaders work fine and I'm using web safe colours - I just dont know where to start with this - everything else seems to work except the 2 mp3 player progress bars that just dont display in html. Desperate for some suggestions. I cant figure out why a swf would work when tested but not when published as html - I'm not using any javascript or xml - nothing except the mp3's (which load and play) is external. What could cause this? beginning to wander if this is a flash player 7 problem because I've just tested it in my flash player (outside off flash authoring - I'm on flash 2004mx) and my flash player crashes when I select a track - the mp3's dont load - or could it be corrupt files!!???? (they are all in the same folder as the swf so it isnt an address problem). I could really use some help. Last edited by annette; 11-10-2004 at 10:26 PM.. Reason: ???not just an html problem maybe |
