Need date field to display as variable

I got two date fields as well but mine are included into my email form but when I send the email to my php script I get an email with all the text field information but the date field info doesn't come through. what i mean is that i need the date that i select to come through as a variable any ideas????

Hi,
First of all you trace the value, the date you select are you getting that date in trace syntax. If it is getting then it must be problem in your php script.

trace(dtChoose.selectedDate) dtChoose = InstanceName

Sorry im not that good at action scripting,,where would i put the trace code and how would i pick it up in my php code sorry to be a pain if there is a tut for this that would be great
