Default Importing a video into Flash mx2004

Hi there,

I have a .mov video clip and I am trying to import it into flash. However I keep getting an error, "can't read file" when I try to import it.

I've tried importing it in Flash mx and it works there (no sound though) so I would be very greatful if anybody had any ideas!

Thanks

Do you have 2004 pro?
which is what Im useing and it has a Sorenson Spark plugin built in. Works great for mpg, avi, and mov. Otherwise - I thought flash could natively open a mov file... weird.

And your sure you are useing "import to library" and not just opening it? (And I don't mean to dis on your flash expertise :-) I've done that so many times its not funny... lol)

good luck
