This is a question about something that i ran into a couple of years ago but i just read something in another thread that made me think of it.
You can create a projector in flash where you don't need a plug-in to view. You can create a director projector where you import a flash file, BUT you need the flash file. (I assume because the source was a .swf Now given this was Director 8 and flash 4 so a few things may have changed however is there anyway to import a flash exe into a director exe so you don't need the plug in? Is this a stupid question. I guess I'm just trying to figure out how to use flash content within director without needing the plug-in. Maybe Dir 8.5 solved that.

u still need the director plugin then. So u may not need the seperate flash-plugin anymore, but u still need the director version (which has flash-capabilities included)
If u want to prevent the need of plugins you're out of luck, until all the browsers, OS etc. incorporate the plugin into their package.

I'm not talking about a browser based shockwave file. I'm talking a stand alone exe. Is there anyway to get one .exe into another?
