Can Flash be scripted with Javascript?

I'd like to find out if javascript can be used instead of AS to operate a Flash-based online casino-style slot machine.

this would involve random number generators, variables, arrays, etc. I'm a designer, not a heavy-duty scripter, and I need to find out more about this for a client.

the only thing what you can do is set Variables in you flash movie truh javascript

ide = integrated development enviroment.
jsfl == java script for the flash ide

can any one help me for flash actionscript problam how to do one click play a movie and when u click other button fist movie close and 2nd movie play
