Default Accessibility reader software issue

Hi All,
I am developing a course using Flash MX 2004, and this course is made compatiable for accessibility.
The screen reader software reads assigned text to the button using the the command.

Here is the problem:
The screen reader software reads limited amount of text which is not more than 100 characters. The Zoom text 8.1 reads less character then JAWS 4.5.

I would like to know is it a limitation from flash side or the reader side?

both the screen reader softwares are in trail mode.

thanks in advance

Ajay

From my experiments a while ago, I recall you get different results from dynamic and non dynamic text fields too.
I think it's a combination of both softwares working (or not) together. There are other readers availaable but I'm not sure if they have trials. Maybe worth checking out macromedia site and also accessibility sites. I'll try and dig up my notes from then and let you know.
Good luck.

Thanks a lot for your help
i checked website of zoom text and the trail version is fully functional.
One thing i notied that it reads the first line when i write in notepad. If you scale the notepad window it still read the first line till it is visible.
If the text is word wrapped, it stops after reading the first line.

thanks
Ajay

From memory, what ever you do, it''s going to have to be a compromise. Unfortunately.
