Bonjour,
I know how to use Motion Path with a beginning point and an end point. I am now trying to use a circle as Motion Path. The problem is that I have no beginning and an end to match. The first thing I have done is to cut a little my circle to create a beginning and an end but it creates a little pause in the my object's path if there is not so many frames in my movie. Does anyone knows a solution to use a circle as a Motion Path ? Thank you in advance :-) |

The only luck I have had with using a circle as a motion path is to leave the path>circle intact instead of breaking it in a spot. Lets say our tween will be 20 frames long. You have two layers: "path" and "Object" Set your graphic in the first frame of the "object" and then select motion tween. You will have a dark dot with the rest of the frames blue with dashes running through them. Go to the 10th frame of "object" and add a keyframe. Drag your object half way around the circle. Test that to make sure it is going in the direction you want.(seems if you go slightly over half way, the object will track the opposite way). If so, then go to the end of the tween, add another keyframe and move your graphic so that it rests just shy of where it started. That will give you a pretty smooth effect.
Good luck |

Since this question gets asked so often I've made an example which uses a method I like. This method is easy and it doesn't leave you with a pause.
Check it out http://www.actionscripts.org/help/circle_motion/ Cheers Jesse

Bonjour,
thank you for your answers :-) I didn't have time yet to look at your example but it seems to be nice. Well, as I am used to classic web dev, I find a solution to my problem thru ActionScript. You can an exemple here : http://1ppl.free.fr. |
