I'm trying to make a " spotlight". I'm using a mask for this. The mask itself is a cool picture. The masked layer is just a circle.
If you move the cursor, you move the circle. The problem is that when I test this with " test movie " the circle moves like I want it but the mask ( the picture ) does not appear. |

You should have your mask layer with just a shape on it (the shape of your spotlight). Your content to be masked should be on the layer below that layer, in the same frame.
If you've set it up right the layer with the content on it will be indented below the mask layer... Does your layout look like that? The simplest explaination is probably the most likely... Cheers Jesse
