Default Browsers won't give up the ghosts of .swfs

Hi everyone thanks for reading this. I hope you are not having this problem.
I appreciate any help. I have an .swf which is in html file, and has
an accompanying .as file which contains data, an array of names of ice cream flavors. The .swf displays text and graphics referenced from the .as file.

The problem is that even though the .as file and the .swf file have both been updated within the last hour the browsers (Netscape, Firefox, Internet Explorer) are continuing to display the files which are days old!!!!

I have deleted the history, the offline content files, cookies...everything via Internet Explorer and Windows, and I am still seeing the old .swf displayed with the old content from the .as file.

I even for great big laughs deleted the .as file, and of course
.swf file still works even though the file .as is no longer on the server.

Thanks again, I really appreciate any help, I am sure others are having this
ridiculous problem too.
