Default Changing look of playback control

I'm a Newbie and just started to use .FLV clips embedded into .SWF files, which are then uploaded to a CMS (Mambo) powered site. So far so good. What I'm struggling with is the playback control as well as the background colour of the frame around the movie. Does anyone happen to know how to easily change that? The playback control is currently light green (the standard Macromedia colour) and there's a light grey background behind the clip and control. I don't really want to create my own skins but just prefer to have it simply grey (control) and white (background).

Can I do that with Flash MX?

Thanks
Alex
