Flash with PHP load Chinese Characters

I recently did a flash with php flash movie. It load php variables from database. It works when it's loading normal text.

But when I load chinese characters, it encountered errors.
I tried inserting chinese characters into mySQL database, load it with PHp and it works. The php can display the chinese characters. BUt when it comes to flash, it does not load the chinese characters.

The chinese characters inserted into the database are in Unicode, such as : 這是

But why do PHP can read the codes while Flash couldn't.

Any Solutions?

Hi There:

You are not alone... This is an ages old issue with Flash, but it does work. I have the same setup as you do and the same problem using Flash 8. See my forum post "Flash does not display extended characters". I have provided much detail in my setup, maybe you have missed somethin I mention - it may fix your issue.
