Default TextArea scroll image.

Is there any work around for the text area to see the images height as part of it's scrolling area?

I have a textArea where I place some text obviously. Along with the text I am placing an image using the <img> tag. The images height is double that of the text and the iamge gets cut off in the text area component but the scroll does not turn on. If the text is longer them the image the scroll does turn on.
