Default Flash 8 and Mac

Hi, I am looking to buy a new computer. I am thinking about getting a Mac Powerbook. Has anyone tried developing with Flash 8 on a Mac, more specifically a Powerbook. Were there any speed issues? Was it slow to work with or not?

Thanks,
Kent

im f8 on a powerbook g4 1.67. The application seems a little slower to load then MX but nothing major. I also notice that when u open a fla in f8 mac you get a blank document that opens with it in a tab, which isnt a big problem, just a little annoying.
