Default easy solution to named anchors

I had scoured the posts here for a solution to a named anchor problem I was having, but eventually stumbled across the answer myself. I had a flash menu at the top of a long html document and I needed the flash buttons to take me to specific html named anchors on the same page. I tried using many solutions offered by various posts about the same problem, but I'm script shy and needed something easier.

I had a button in the flash movie with the title "services" on it, and I simply entered "#services" into the link field of that button's dynamic text to corrispond to the "services" named anchor in my html. Walla! No problem.

I have no idea if this would work using anything other than Flash 8, but I have tested this in IE and FF.

Hope this helps someone out there. If anyone knows any problems with this solution (ie. won't work on this or that platform), please let me know.
