Thanks acolyte,

Its strange that nobody is asking about this, because this i quite a hot topic. I also found this: http://www.macromedia.com/licensing/...er/search/faq/ but that is more for big companies to extend their Flash player (develpment teams).
Finaly they relased a way to let search engines crawl through Flash files
I used to use the meta data in HTML and not Flash.

Thanks again!

Sid

A few months back, it was noticed that Macromedia was working alongside Yahoo when they started offering the Yahoo toolbar option alongside the Flash player plugin option.

I expect the future benefits that Macromedia mentioned at the time about working with Yahoo will come to fruition nicely in the future and this seo Flash 8 stuff will probably speak for itself by then.

So i think seo will be much better in the future for Flash.

Default Flash Searchability Techniques

I gave a workshop on SEO for Flash at this year's FlashBelt conference. The presentation, resource links and example files are online here:
http://www.metatoy.com/site/professi...ns.flashbelt05

"Learn the latest techniques for making Flash content more accessible to popular search engines. Overarching information includes: how search engines work; extraneous factors and their affect on your page ranking; and how to strategically design pages to yield greater results. Additionally, indexing XML methods and database resources commonly used in Flash will be discussed."

Topics include:
* SEO Introduction
* Basic Flash Optimization
* Using XML
* Exposing Databases
* Revealing Video Content

Check it out and let me know what you think! I don't sell or provide SEO services, these are just tips and tricks I've learned by being in a similar situation as yourself.

Default RE: bad linkage

Sorry, I think that link was old. try this instead:
http://www.metatoy.com/site/professi...ns.flashbelt05.

I would also recommend checking out Ripple (http://osflash.org/ripple); it's a SEO framework for Flash. I haven't used it but it's worth looking into, the auther recently did a FlashFoward presentation on it.
