Default Where do all the Director developers go?

I recently started using Director again (been several years since I used it).

I like this forum for flash issues. Friendly community, good, quick answers to questions, etc.

Where does one go to find a community like this for Director? I have looked around, and I can't find much. Are there many Director developers out there?

I like that they have added Javascript support, seems to be more in line with actionscript. Of course there are more Lingo samples out there than Javascript.

But, I come from the early days of multi-media and I still see a role for local vs. Web based applications.

But, looking at where Macromedia is on this now seems to be more confusing than ever. I saw Macromedia Central as a possible means of adding some localized functionality to flash apps, but there seems to be less of a community around that than there is for Director.

What is the direction for local apps?

Default Thanks!

I'll check it out.

However, I was looking for a forum rather than a mailing list.

Sorry... None I know of...
I've been using Director quite a while and I have not seen a single Director devoted forum... (Unless things have changed since I did not use it that is...)
