mxml on client (illegal?)

Hello flashers.

I have created AS2 library to render XML based UI definitions.
As language for describing user interfaces this class package uses MXML.

Realized features:

Containers
box, vbox, hbox (grid in plans)

Controls
all (possible to use not only components from MM)

Data modeling
data model (while without treelike hierarchy) and simple data validation (expansion in plans)

Event model
almost all

Managers
ToolTipManager

In plans to share source code of this project (for example on sourceforge).

But MXML - the patented language also is used in Flex.
Whether my actions will be illegal?
