Default The Help Section

we need someone to take on the help section

essentially this is an interactive document, anyone with experience building this sort of thing is welcome to take a whack at it.

first we'll have to assemble the text. 20 has a basic tutorial already posted.

i'm thinking this just pops up over the top of the client and unloads itself when your done.

for the team we could use a writer, i'll act as editor if need be, catch typos and what not and help get the structure set up. we also need a designer and someone to do some simple scripting. could be one person, could be three.

this actually seems like something that could be really cool if someone took it and ran with it. nice portfolio piece to some aspiring designers...???

What kind of "interactive document" are you looking for? Does the text already exist?

I'll help, but I'll need some clues first.

Yeah look at the engine tutorial to start with. it will have to be altered obviously based on how we tweak the client.

We need somebody who can write a little bit too and lord knows you and i have written quite a bit at one another. i think you'll be fine, i'll help edit.

The first task would be taking the existing material and figuring out how one might go through it as a reader (table of contents or search or something else?).

also how do we want to illustrate this? just text or do we need something like the help section of flash itself? (would be cool, depends on how much you wanna bite off)
