Yeah, I agree with Billy T - lose the centrally aligned text, I'd align it left then it would look much clearer and have more impact. It's bright red and a larger font, it really doesn't need to be in a pyramid to be noticed and just looks unprofessional at the moment.

The red might look a whole lot better when realigned tidily, but do try the grey Billy T suggested, sometimes you can certainly make more impact by being more subtle.
You have divided the bottom red area into compartments which works well as it separates each bit of textual information, maybe try to subtly carry that theme up to the top red area too? At the moment the logo looks like it is floating about competing with the two links on the right. A carefully placed divider (not an extra picture) would separate the two giving each their own area might balance the top and bottom of the page. I think subtlety is the key again here though.
