the movement was all pretty jump - is it scripted or tweened?

with the "Our solution chain....." text either align it left or right - same with all the rest of the pyramid text

I liked the red at the top and bottom but not the red in the middle - maybe replace with a light grey

that home section isnt finished right?

I liked the contingency planning and disaster recovery

one of the images down the bottom looks really flat when the rest are quite contrasty

Hope that helps

Yeah, I agree with Billy T - lose the centrally aligned text, I'd align it left then it would look much clearer and have more impact. It's bright red and a larger font, it really doesn't need to be in a pyramid to be noticed and just looks unprofessional at the moment.

The red might look a whole lot better when realigned tidily, but do try the grey Billy T suggested, sometimes you can certainly make more impact by being more subtle.

You have divided the bottom red area into compartments which works well as it separates each bit of textual information, maybe try to subtly carry that theme up to the top red area too? At the moment the logo looks like it is floating about competing with the two links on the right. A carefully placed divider (not an extra picture) would separate the two giving each their own area might balance the top and bottom of the page. I think subtlety is the key again here though.

Hope that helps

howdy

I was referring to the red bars - not the text. The red that scrolls into the center in various sections is just too bright...

cheers

Thanks for the ideas to both of you,

I probably will be posting a newer version of the site after I make more changes, I hope you will give me feedback again. You rule.

Anyways.

Billy T ,

What did you mean by:

the movement was all pretty jump - is it scripted or tweened?

Was it not good.

Right now the page moving
(the white "Solution Center" to the red "solutions" that you don't like (don't worry you are not the only one that doesn't like the color)) is with tweening and the different pages are activated with an attach movie action script depending on which "solution" button you click on.

The pictures at the bottom move with tweening also and some are activated with an attach movie action script and some are attached with a goto and play frame number actionscript inside one of the attached movies.

ALL the help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks again

I think the movement would look better if it was scripted

Have a look at the attached file

cheers
