Default analyzing flv files

Does anyone know if there's a way to analyze an FLV file to figure out the settings used to make it (i.e., codec, bitrate, etc.)? I was curious about the settings that YouTube.com uses, because they're compatible with Flash 7 and the quality is pretty good.
