Default Clone odeo.com recorder

Come now, it cannot be so difficult to record in wav or mp3 format using a flash recorder. What's all this about needing macromedia's server?

Here's a free player with the source GPLed:

How can I turn it into a recorder?

If odeo.com has bought and installed the server, how do they make $ on that site? It's all free?
