Heya folks, there has been a change in the IP address of my server, thus you will have to update your gMUD or download it again (I updated it).
Just change the IP in gMUD to 208.31.38.3 and all should be well, if you wanna do it yerself. I've also changed the recent version of the client to point at the correct port and took the liberty to code a 30 second connection timeout with a retry button. I'm doin' this cuz Red is out of town for the week, sleazing around in the red light district! Heheheh! Lemme know how it works! |

Actually Meister Squirrel I wanted to ask you:
Is that 208.31.38.3 :1138 or or 208.31.38.3:2020 or does it matter? (I'm sure Gmud and my client were different you see, which is preferable?) K |

Astute question, Boo. The port for standard logins from apps like gMUD or MUSHclient is 1138. I have the daemon listening on port 1000 as well but I can't connect to it... maybe someone else will have better luck?
Port 2020 is for the client. I've already made the necessary changes to the project and posted it up again in the same spot. So there ya have it! |
