AEAF AWARDS 2002.2

Organisers of the Australian Effects and Animation Festival (AEAF) are now accepting entries into the AEAF Awards 2002.2 to coincide with the next festival set for December in Sydney.

The AEAF Awards are designed to reward innovation and expertise in digital content creation for film, television, games and the internet. You can enter as many individual entries as you wish, as long as they've been completed between July 1, 2001 and October 27, 2002.

Finalists' entries will be screened before an audience at the AEAF Awards presentation night, December 3, 2002 Sydney Convention Centre.

There are now 12 categories into which you can enter:

Short Film
TV Series
Titles, Idents & Stings
Web Animation

Education & Training
The AEAF Awards draw competition from around the globe and are judged by a leading panel of CGI experts. Regular AEAF entrants include ILM (USA), The Mill (UK), Animal Logic (AUS), Digital Domain (USA), Sony Pictures Imageworks(USA), Cutting Edge Post (AUS), BBC (UK), Ambience Entertainment (AUS) and The Moving Picture Company (UK).

Fill out the entry form online or print it, and send entries to AEAF PO Box 250, Bondi Junction NSW 1355 no later than Monday October 28, 2002. Your entry must be supplied on Beta SP (PAL formatted) and be accompanied by a document of no more than 100 words explaining its special features. For more information contact anna@dmw.com.au.
