"This is one of the most exciting times in the history of the Macromedia(R) Flash(R) platform and the tremendous turnout last week at SPARK in Amsterdam is confirmation that Europe's Flash community is vibrant and thriving" said SPARK Founder Stewart McBride. Last week SPARK attracted attendees from: Albania, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, and the United States.
In the coming months, said McBride, SPARK will announce the location of and dates of its next event in Europe. McBride's company, United Digital Artists, created and produced SPARK. UDA, a European events company, has produced, over the last decade, 30 conferences and festivals which have attracted some 35,000 designers and developers. Last week's SPARK was UDA's 8th event in Europe.
