AMSTERDAM (Nov. 21) The organizers of SPARK, Europe's premier Flash event, announced today that its three-day Amsterdam conference and workshops (Nov 16-18) drew more than 750 international designers and developers from 27 countries. Fifty of the world's most talented Flash experts delivered educational and inspirational sessions on Flash 8's breakthrough graphical capabilities, Flex 2's robust developer framework, ActionScript 3's blazing execution, and Flash Lite 2's industrial strength mobile capabilities. SPARK also showcased animation, design, interactivity, and open source, as well as many of the newest imaging, video and motion graphics tools from Adobe(R).

"This is one of the most exciting times in the history of the Macromedia(R) Flash(R) platform and the tremendous turnout last week at SPARK in Amsterdam is confirmation that Europe's Flash community is vibrant and thriving" said SPARK Founder Stewart McBride. Last week SPARK attracted attendees from: Albania, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, and the United States.
