Red Penguin is one of our longest standing members, and a great example of the cycle that we hope ActionScript.org creates; learn from others, get amazingly good, teach others :)

Friend gave me a CD with a bunch of MacroMedia software on it. I installed each one and played with the application. When I found Flash 4, I was immediately hooked

CS3 ...always the latest and greatest. ActionScript 3, of course!

PHP, mySQL (if you consider it a language), some CSS. Actionscript has, of course, proven to be the most useful professionally. I'm also grateful and fond of PHP and command line mySQL
