Hey everyone just thought I'd start blogging about randomness and what I've been up to lately. I've been starting to prepare and post a few articles on here (actionscript.org), so far the only three I've managed to post are:

After Effects Quality Effect in AS3:
http://www.actionscript.org/resources/articles/843/1/After-Effects-Quality-Effect-in-AS3-Free-Downloadable-Class/Page1.html
3D Menu using Flash Player 10 in CS3 or CS4:

Dynamic AS3 Reflection Class: Awaiting Approval

Flash Player 10 Workaround for Flash CS3: Awaiting Approval

Be sure to check those out. I also have video tutorials available for most of these topics on my website at www.ascensionsystems.ca/tutorials. I'm going to be revamping that whole site as well as moving my tutorials away from my business site and onto a brand new website I'll be building soon www.flashtropolis.com! You can also subscribe on my website to be notified whenever I realease a new tutorial or class either on Actionscript.org or on my site. (I usually post everything here) Anyway that's about all for that. I just want to say for the record that my intent here with creating my own site is not at all to draw people away from actionscript.org. I think this is a great flash community and if anything what I hope to achieve (I have a purposal for the owner(s) of this site) is to help boost the overall size and traffic of the flash community and bring it together into a more cetralised network. This way we can all help each other better and share our contributions and so on with more fellow flex/flash developers. Anyway that's another story, that's what I've been up to with tutorials. Happy flashing.

I did all the swf decompiling of the playerglobal.swc, but still couldn't get the matrix3d class, which version of the nightly build flex sdk would you recommend me to download?

I've been having problems with your "Menu using Flash Player 10 in CS3 or CS4" tutorial, especially because in the sampleZsorter class, it calls for the matrix3d class, only available in the flash CS4 version.
How could I manage to fix this problem?

Yeah the issue is, as stated in my Flash CS3 workaround for Flash Player 1o (if you havn't watch that yet, check out http://www.flashtropolis.com) you have to test the movie in a browser, not in the flash CS3 IDE flash movie player. As long as you use the workaround and publish preview in a browser you can follow along with the tutorial no problems. Check out my website, watch the video tutorials and be sure to subscribe cause I've got about 10 new video tutorials coming out in the next couple of weeks. Thanks,

Jesse
