A long-time Flash user (since version 3) and programmer since the age of eight, Jonathan has worked on numerous games and applications using the Adobe Flash & Actionscript technology for a wide range of clients.
Apart from freelancing as a design & development consultant he currently teaches Flash & Actionscript (among other) courses at the NHL University of Applied Sciences in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands and works as a Technical Director (and 1/4 founder) at Interactive Visuals, a VJ collective which specializes in interactive new media displays & custom show design for events.

The guys at ActionScript.org were so nice to give Ruben Swieringa and me tickets to go to Flash in the Can in Amsterdam, so we could bring back all the hot bits of information to you guys.
But as luck would have it, I'm having to skip the morning presentations, since I'm stuck in a meeting.
I'll try and keep you posted about my progress; expect my next blog entry to be from the ride there!
