While attempting to follow the tutorial, given the attached fla in the Download Link, I was faced with redundant AS errors in the code and it doesn't seem to demonstrate the tutorial being discussed. The attached fla is called fade.fla, perhaps from some other tutorial??!!

I am so ready to progress step by step, but this one frustrated me at step 1. I hope it's my own ineptitude and not the fault of the author, but I had to give up on this one.
